FINE SWISS K-11 SCHMIDT-RUBIN CARBINE, 7.5X55MM

This is an original, Swiss K-11 Schmidt-Rubin Carbine manufactured at Eidgenoessische Waffenfabrik, Bern and chambered for the 7.5x55mm cartridge. The K-11 was produced from 1914 to 1933. It was intended for cavalry, artillery, and other troops requiring a shorter rifle. This rifle is in fine condition with 70-80% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is a little finish wear on the back of the receiver and on the barrel near the muzzle. There is no finish on the bottom of the magazine floor plate or on the butt plate. The butt plate has some brown speckles. The rifle has excellent mechanics with all matching numbers. The bore is pristine, bright, and shiny. The stock is in very good condition with a scattering of small dings and scratches from use, typical of Swiss rifles. There are small importer marks on the barrel.
