EXCELLENT BRITISH FAZAKERLEY NO.4, MK.2 ENFIELD RIFLE, .303 CALIBER

This is a British No.4, Mk.2 Short Magazine Lee Enfield Rifle made at Fazakerley in 1955. I believe that this is one of the rifles discovered in Ireland that were unissued, still in the "mummy wrap" packaging. These were some of the very last SMLE rifles made in England. This rifle is essentially new with just about 100% of its black factory finish remaining. It has all matching numbers including the stock. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The rifle does not appear to have been fired with traces of the original packing grease on the bolt face and in the firing pin hole. I can't be 100% sure that it has not been fired, but it really looks like that is the case. The blonde stock is excellent as well with crisp markings behind the trigger guard and the nose cap. There are tiny importer marks on the barrel. Included is an original, WWII web sling dated 1944. It is in excellent condition. If you want a No.4 in mint condition, don't miss this one!
