Description :

This is a Deluxe Model 1874 Sharps Buffalo Rifle manufactured by Pedersoli of Italy in 2018 and sold by the Stoeger Arms Company. It is chambered for the .45-70 Government cartridge. This is a high-grade gun with cased colors, a cut checkered stock, and a pewter Hartford forend tip. There is a gold washed Buffalo bust on either side of the receiver. The gun has double set triggers and a 34" tapered heavy barrel with a Hartford collar. It tapers from 1 3/16" at the breech to 1" at the muzzle. The rifle is fitted with a Soule style Vernier tang site and globe front w/ insert. This rifle is in very fine to excellent condition. It retains nearly 100% of its high polished blue finish on the barrel, breech block, and butt plate. There is a small ding on the outside crown of the muzzle on the flat of the barrel. It does not approach or affect the bore. The receiver, hammer, and lever retain nearly 100% of their cased colors. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is very fine with just a few small scratches on the stock along the butt plate. Pedersoli makes great replica guns, and this is one of their finest examples. Stock no. 8206
