NON-FIRING MGC REPLICA WWII GERMAN MP40 SCHMEISSER MACHINE PISTOL, W/ORIGINAL SLING

Description :
This is a non-firing replica of the WWII German MP40 Submachine Gun made by MGC. Chambered for the 9mm Parabellum cartridge, the "Schmeisser Machine Pistol" was the standard submachine gun of the Wehrmacht. Although American GIs almost universally called these guns Schmeissers, Hugo Schmeisser played no part in its development. This is a pretty good replica, made in Japan in the late 60's or early 70's. Some of these were made to fire caps, some blanks, and some were non-firing. I think this is a strictly non-firing example. The barrel is solid at the chamber. It is in fine condition with about 95% of its finish remaining. There is some overall light wear. Everything works as it should. You can pull the bolt back and it drops when the trigger is pulled. The grips are excellent. The gun comes with an original, WWII leather sling marked "MP 40" and "cox 43" and a Waffenamt. This is a great looking MP40, perfect for any WWII display. Stock no. 30319
