This is an original, WWI, Colt Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol manufactured in early 1918 and chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. This was the standard U.S. sidearm in WWI and with modifications served into the Vietnam War. This pistol is in fine condition with 60-70% of its original factory blued finish remaining. There is some overall finish wear from use, which is heavier on the grip straps. These are beginning to turn brown. There is some brown patina speckling on top of the slide. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips are in fine condition with a few small dents from use. Included is the original "Two Tone" magazine in fine condition. This is a nice untouched WWI Model 1911. Stock no. 30098
