Here is a Smith & Wesson Model 17-2 Revolver manufactured in 1963 and chambered for the .22 LR cartridge. Known as the .22 Masterpiece, it is a double action, 6-shot revolver built on the "K" frame. It has a 6-inch barrel and adjustable rear target sight. This revolver is in excellent condition, like new in the original blue cardboard box. The gun retains nearly 100% of its factory blued finish with a very faint drag line and two tiny, light scratches on the cylinder between two of the flutes. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. The correct "Magna" grips have the diamond screw escutcheon and are in excellent condition as well. This is a superb example of the .22 Masterpiece.
