VERY FINE, WWII GERMAN P-35 BROWNING HIGH POWER PISTOL, W/ WAFFENAMTS

Description :
|
This is an original, WWII German P-35 Browning High Power Pistol made at FN of Belgium. After occupying Belgium, the Germans used the facilities at FN to produce arms for the Wehrmacht. One of these was the P-35 High Power Pistol. The high power was the last of John Browning's designs. It is a single action, double stack, semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. With its 13-round magazine, it was also the first widely produced high-capacity pistol. This pistol is in very fine condition with the exception of the grips, which have been replaced with a modern set. The gun has a number of German Waffenamt proofs and military acceptance markings. The Waffenamts are "WaA140". The pistol retains more than 95% of its factory blued finish. There is some light holster wear on forward edges of the frame and slide. There are a few light speckles on the slide. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips are very fine, but not correct for the gun. It would be well worth your while to try to find an original set because this gun is in beautiful condition. Included is one original magazine and the gun's original leather holster. The holster is in fair condition with some flaking of the leather surface and some broken stitching in places. Grips notwithstanding, this is a beautiful WWII High Power. Stock no. 30015
