This is a Gold Cup National Match Pistol chambered in .45 ACP. This is a Mk. IV, Series 70 gun manufactured in 1979. The Gold cup featured the Colt Accurizer barrel and bushing, adjustable trigger, target hammer, and a Colt/ Eliason rear sight. It also has a flat mainspring housing. These were produced from 1970 to 1983. This gun is in excellent condition except for a small round spot of finish loss on the left side of the slide. It is a little larger than a pea and is just behind the gripping grooves. Aside from that there is just a faint hint of wear on the front edges of the slide and a tiny friction rub on the front bottom of the frame below the muzzle. The bore, mechanics, and grips are all excellent. This should be a tack driver. Stock no. 29966
