WWII, INLAND DIVISION U.S. M-1 CARBINE, .30 CALIBER

Here is an original, WWII, U.S. M-1 Carbine manufactured by the Inland Division of General Motors in 1943. It has undergone a post-war rebuild to upgrade the gun with an adjustable sight and bayonet mount. The carbine is in fine condition with about 95% of its parkerized finish remaining. There is a touch of wear at the muzzle and the majority of the rest is on the butt plate. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is very good to fine with a few small dings and scratches from use. It is stamped "IO" in the sling well and a faint Ordnance Wheel cartouche is visible on the right side of the butt. Included is an original US military web sling in fine condition. There is NO magazine included, but they are not hard to find. This is a nice, U.S. military issue M-1 Carbine. Stock no. 29893
