This is an original, WWII U.S. M1 Carbine manufactured by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors in late 1944. It is a typical post-WWII rebuild with a mixture of parts and all the upgrades. It is in an M2 stock with a bayonet mount, adjustable rear sight, round bolt, and a Type IV slide. The gun is in fine condition with light overall finish wear. About 60% of the original parkerized finish remains. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The walnut stock is very fine with just a couple of small dings from use. There are no visible markings on the wood. Included is an original late web sling. It is marked for a Mildew Resistant Treatment in 1952. Stock no. 29375
