Item :	EXCELLENT 1ST GENERATION COLT BISLEY REVOLVER, .32-20, 1903 MFG.

Description :

This is a Colt Bisley Revolver manufactured in 1903 and chambered for the .32 WCF (.32-20) cartridge. The Bisley was intended for target shooting and featured a longer grip strap that swept farther forward than a standard Single Action. The hammer was smaller and raked back. The gun was named for Bisley, England, the site of international shooting matches in the late 1800's. Only about 45,00 were manufactured. This revolver is in excellent condition with more than 95% of its factory finishes remaining. There is a slight amount of holster wear on the left side of the muzzle and a little finish wear and a small scuff on the end of the ejector housing. There is a light drag line on the cylinder. The case colors are strong with just a bit of holster wear at the front of the frame. The gun has excellent mechanics and a perfect bore and chambers. The black hard rubber grips are in excellent condition as well. Though originally intended for target shooters, many liked the design for other purposes. Some showed up out West! This is a beautiful Colt Bisley in outstanding condition. Stock no. 27413
