VERY FINE COLT MODEL 1903 POCKET HAMMER PISTOL

This is an original, Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer Pistol manufactured in 1909 and chambered for the .38 ACP (.38 Rimless Smokeless) cartridge. Please note that this is a different cartridge than the .380 ACP or the .38 Super. The Model 1903 is similar to the earlier Model 1902, but has a shorter 4 1/2 inch barrel. These were produced from 1903-1929. This pistol is in very fine condition with about 95% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some light holster wear at the muzzle and two small scuffed areas on either side of the front sight that have turned brown. There are a number of very tiny little scratches and dings in the blued finish from use. The gun has an excellent bore and mechanics. Please note that the slide does not lock back on the '03 Pocket Hammer. The black hard rubber grips are complete and in very fine condition with just a couple of light scratches from use. The magazine has a lost the finish on the floorplate, but remains blue on the body. This is a great example of the Colt M1903. Stock no. 24691
