WINCHESTER MODEL 1912 TRENCH SHOTGUN

This is a standard 12 gauge Winchester Model 12 Shotgun made in 1928. It has been converted to a Trench Shotgun with the addition of a replica ventilated handguard and bayonet mount. The barrel originally had a full choke and is so marked. It has been shortened to the correct length. This is NOT a genuine military trench gun, but it is a good looking representation of one. It is in very fine condition with nearly all of its blued finish remaining. The gun has an excellent bore and mechanics. The stock is in fine condition with no chips or cracks. There are some scrapes and scuffs of the varnished finish. Some oil has gotten under the varnish on the toe of the grip cap and darkened the wood and the forearm is darker than the butt. Included is a good quality replica of the U.S. Model 1907 leather sling by Brownells. It is in excellent condition. This is a perfect reenactor's gun at a fraction of the cost of real deal.
