PRE-BAN COLT SP-1 AR-15 RIFLE W/ STAND & CASE

This is an early, pre-ban Colt SP-1 AR-15 Rifle manufactured in 1977 and chambered for the .223 cartridge. This rifle is in the original Colt tactical configuration with no forward bolt assist, no case deflector, and the triangular handguard. It has a 20" barrel with a 1:12 inch twist. It has the second type flash hider and not the earliest three-prong type. The rifle is in very fine to excellent condition. It retains nearly all of its black factory parkerized finish. There are a couple of very tiny rubs on the lip of the magazine well. This rifle has seen very little use and has spent most of its life on a Colt oak display stand. It has an excellent bore and mechanics. The stock and handguards are equally nice. The rifle comes with the oak display stand (which is supposedly a factory item), black web sling, and an Eagle tactical soft carrying case. It has two 20-round and one 30-round magazine, all of Colt manufacture. All are in excellent condition. Kick it old school with an early AR-15! Stock no. 23369
