This is an original, Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless Pistol manufactured in 1938. It is chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge. It is fitted with a beautiful pair of Colt Medallion bone grips . The pistol is in very fine to excellent condition retaining more than 95% of its brilliant Colt blued finish. There was a small spot of corrosion on the underside of the frame just ahead of the trigger guard. This was cleaned, leaving a small spot of finish loss. The only other loss is a hint of wear on the high points of the gun. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. I do not know if they are original to the gun or were added later. This is a beautiful little Colt. The M1908 Pocket remains a good carry pistol to this day. Stock no. 23221
