SUPERB VENEZUELAN MODEL 1930 MAUSER RIFLE

Here is an original, Venezuelan Model 1930 Short Rifle manufactured by FN of Belgium and chambered for the 7x57mm cartridge. These Belgian made Mauser rifles were of very high quality and beautifully finished with satin gloss stocks. This rifle is in excellent, near mint condition. It is all matching with a full Venezuelan Crest. It retains nearly 100% of its factory blued finish. The receiver and bolt assembly have a flawless armory bright finish. The butt plate, also bright, has one very small spot of brown patina right at the heel where it rests on the ground. The bore and mechanics are excellent, again, in like new condition. The stock is beautiful. It is numbered to the gun and has striking grain patterns. There are a few very tiny dings from storage. All the stock markings are crisp. The stock has the look of a "hand rubbed oil" finish. Included is an original leather sling in fine condition. This is as fine a Venezuelan Mauser as I have ever seen. It would be nearly impossible to find a better example. Stock no. 22160
