FINE PARKER VHE 12 GA. DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN W/ FACTORY LETTER

This is an original Parker VHE 12 Ga. Double Barrel Shotgun manufactured in 1907. It has 30" Vulcan Steel barrels. The gun comes with a factory letter showing it was ordered in 1907 and shipped to The Bullard Gormley Company of Chicago, Illinois. The gun is in as shipped configuration and in fine condition. The barrels retain more than 95% of their factory blued finish. There are a couple of tiny spots where some surface rust formed and was cleaned. There is a very small dent in the left barrel. It is about half the size of a grain of rice. The receiver retains about 70% of its case color with the remainder silvering. The trigger guard has some brown patina. The mechanics work very well with tight lock up of the action. The bores in both barrels are excellent, smooth, and shiny. The stock is in fine condition with just a few small dings from use. Both the original Parker pistol butt cap and the Parker butt plate are fine with no chips or cracks. There is a little wear of the checkering on the heel of the butt plate from being set on the ground. This is a fine Parker shotgun, complete with a factory letter. Stock no. 21940
