Item :	VERY FINE, WWII, CZECH NAZI PRODUCTION G.24(T) MAUSER RIFLE

Description :

This is an original, Czech vz.24 Rifle produced under German occupation in 1942 at Waffenwerke Bruenn, Bystrica Plant. It is marked with the "dou 42" manufacturers code. Germany occupied Czechoslovakia in 1938 and immediately took the vz.24 into service designating it the G.24(t), the (t) standing for the German "tschechoslowakisch". Production continued under German occupation, gradually shifting to the Kar98k. In 1942, the Bystrica Plant was finally converted to solely building the Kar98k. This rifle is one of the last Bystrica rifles with the G.24(t) designation. The rifle is in very fine to excellent condition retaining about 98% of its factory blued finish. The butt plate has a little browning of the finish. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock, numbered to the gun, is very fine as well, with just a couple of tiny dings from use. There are Waffenamt acceptance markings on the receiver ring and on the stock. The G.24(t) designation is stamped on the left side of the receiver. All the numbered parts are matching. Some parts are simply stamped with a small "cz". The rifle is fitted with an original leather sling. This is a superb example of the G.24(t) rifle, a scarce and desirable WWII German arm.
