VERY FINE, 1931 COLT WOODSMAN .22 AUTO PISTOL

This is a Colt Woodsman .22 Semi-automatic Pistol produced in 1931. It is a 1st Series Woodsman with a 6 5/8" barrel. The 1st series Woodsman Pistols were produced from 1927 until 1947. This one is in very fine condition with more than 90% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is a little holster wear on the barrel and top of the frame. The grip straps have some wear and are turning brown. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips show some light wear of the checkering and have a few small dings from use. There is some wood missing from the interior of the right grip panel. It is visible in the photo of the gun butt. It is not visible from the side. The Woodsman was produced for over 62 years. It was one of Colt's most popular handguns. Stock no. 15322
