Here is an original J.P. Sauer & Son Behördenmodell 1930 Police Pistol chambered in .32 ACP. The Behörden model incorporated an additional safety feature in the trigger and was intended for police and law enforcement personnel. They were produced from 1930-1937. This pistol is in very fine condition, retaining more than 90% of its factory blued finish. There is some wear on the high points and on the grip straps. The grip straps are just beginning to turn brown. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The plastic right grip panel has a fair sized chip broken from the top edge. There is a police marking stamped on the left side of the trigger guard. The pistol retains it original S&S ( Sauer & Sohn) marked magazine. This is a very nice example of a scarce pistol.
