FINE, U.S. M1 CARBINE BY QUALITY HARDWARE AND MACHINE

This is an original, U.S. M1 Carbine. It was made during WWII by "Quality Hardware and Machine. As with most WWII carbines, it was arsenal rebuilt at the end of the war to bring it up to standard and then placed in storage for future need. This one was given an adjustable rear sight, updated safety and mag release, and a bayonet mount. It has an original WWII stock, but it has a "NPM" (National Postal Meter) cartouche. It appears to have been re-parkerized during the re-build and retains nearly 100% of this finish. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The wood is an even light brown with some light dings overall. It has been lightly sanded and oiled. Included is one original, WWII, 15 round magazine and an original, late, military olive drab sling and oiler.
