.52 Caliber Percussion, Breechloading US Cavalry Long Arm. Serial Number C22283. Very clear markings, Barrel retains 50% blue mixed with a gun metal blackish patina. Receiver is mostly a slate gray with darkened, mottled case colors. Fine bore, excellent mechanics. Fine stock and forend with a trace of the original inspectors cartouche on the left flat. Inspectors initials on barrel. Complete with sling ring and bar. Very nice and untouched.
