.58 Caliber Percussion British Manufactured and Confederate Imported Rifle Musket. Untouched Attic Condition. Smooth plum barrel with moderate pitting from the rear sight back to the breech. Clear London proofs st left breech. Bore is still rifled but dark and well used. Confederate style button tipped replacement ram rod. Dark plum lock engraved "E.P. Bond/London". Fine mechanics. Dark, untouched brass trigger guard and butt plate. Deep dark plum bands. Retains rear sling swivel, top one missing. Very good dark walnut stock with clear circle cartouche forward of the butt plate tang. Circle stamp with discernible "JS" initials in cursive within. "WK" carved into left flat of the butt stock. Nice untouched Confederate Rifle Musket.
