.54 Caliber, Percussion Breechloading US Military Long Arm. Serial Number 8582, matching. Excellent 95% plus bright blue on the barrel. Bright, vivid case color hardening on frame with swirls of blues, grays and purples. Excellent case colors on buttplate and band as well. Bright fire blue on breechblock and lever. Superb markings. Near mint mechanics. Mint bore. Superb stock and fore end with two extremely sharp cartouches at the left flat. This is the way you want to find them! Beautiful!
