.38 Caliber 6-shot Colt Double Action Revolver. SN# 5513, all matching, manufactured in 1878. 3 1/2 Inch barrel with crisp 2-line address on top and acid etched "Colt. D.A. 38" panel on the left of the barrel. Pistol is mostly a dove gray mixed with gun metal blue patina. Fine bore and excellent mechanics. Very handsome diamond checkered rosewood factory grips. Very handsome and Early Colt Lightening!
