.65 Caliber German Made Short Jaeger Rifle. Professionally re-converted to flint lock. 29 Inch octagon barrel with silver inlaid name in scroll on top flat, "Ios Reingruber (proof) Ellwang". Post style rear sight with flip up second leaf. Inlaid brass blade front sight. Fine Rifle Bore. Lock is an extremely well made reproduction lock. Handsome brass mounts at trigger guard, buttplate and ram rod pipes. Handsome walnut stock with wooden patch box cover and large full sized cheek rest. Shotgun butt is exactly 2 inches wide which is a sign of early manufacture. Fine mechanics. Would be a fun shooter!
