.58 Caliber Percussion US Military Long Arm. Very good condition overall. Barrel, lock and furniture are all a toned down bright with darkened patches of tarnish. "1863" Dated on barrel and lock. Sharp "Parkers Snow & Co./Meriden, Conn" marks on lock. Excellent bore and fine mechanics. Well handled original oil finished lock with two discernible cartouches at the left flat. Straight Civil War Period Rifle Muskets are getting harder to find all the time.
